Aw, I'm so glad you wrote this! It's like therapy (I tried to write something about last night, but didn't finish, too emo), but that was brilliant!

yeah, therapy is the right word, only one way to let go. you should try and finish yours, though, i'd love to read it.

glad you liked it! it sure helped me come to terms, not to mention seeing Messi's toast to Xavi and Andres on the plane back.

thanks for the comment :-)))

i was thinking Andres would get it, because of the WC goal, while of course rooting for Xavi, so it threw me off. i cried like 5 mins, refusing to believe it. :(

glad you liked it and thanks for the comment :-)))

Now I've read it and it still hurt me that Xavi didn't win.. But still. Messi is really brilliant!

Thanks for sharing this :)

the whole thing leaves a bit of a bitter aftertaste, indeed :( the lesson is, unless you shine, you don't win shiny things.

[Xavi could always console himself with the WC of course]

glad you enjoyed it and thanks for the comment :-)))

I agree. Xavi - and Andrés - don't shine like Leo does, they sort of - and don't take this the wrong way - do most of the hard work, at least if you ask me... To me Xavi, and especially, Andrés can do things with the ball that not many others can. I know Leo is spectacula at that point, but still, Xavi is the brain behind both Barca and La Roja <3
