When I got my au_bingo card, I was all, Alternate History: Personal life of a character changed, what's that supposed to mean? Someone marrying someone inappropriate or having a different parent or, like, Richard being a kitten, LOL?

This is how bad ideas start. Bad AU crack ideas.

I kind of want a kitten!Richard of my own. I'm sure he'd make a very good cat, even if he can't catch rats.
