OH GODDDDDDDD. I just read this so super duper slowly to ~savor it because it is amazing and I never wanted to be finished with it. You had me at two Kahlan's + Cara, but you managed to sneak in so many FEEEELINGS LSDFKDFSL. Killing me softly.

She knows what the next words out of Kahlan's mouth will be before she says them. Her voice is soft and low, almost a whisper. "Why don't you tell me all about it, Kahlan?"

It's only a lifetime of Mord'Sith discipline that keeps Cara immobile.
THIS IS RIDICULOUS IN THE BEST WAY POSSIBLE. DO WANT DO WANT. Hhnnnngggg.

Wow, very powerful writing. This was my favorite episode of the season, and I think it has so much potential for fics. Potential that you met and surpassed...awesome job.

Thank you, o anonymous comment person! Torn is definitely one of my favourite episodes, because it's all delicious crack with a ~sex montage~ and Kahlan checking herself out from all angles. Also, I love the idea of Kahlan have these two opposing sides, who want entirely different things. Glad you enjoyed, anon! :D

I really liked this. A very good study into Cara's feral Mord'Sith half. I really enjoy it when that gets a chance to shine. Cara is like the thinking Mord'Sith's feral Mord'Sith, though. In her head she's aware, and thoughtful, and she...considers things, in her own way. She's not just an ordinary Mord'Sith 'brute.'

Very nice character study, babe! :D

(And yes, I'm peeking out of the woodwork for a bit to read & post.) ;)

I think that bit in Hunger, where Cara says that Kahlan probably considers her a monster for taking Rahl's deal, is SO TELLING about her ~emotional state~ or whatever. It's so needy, like she really craves Kahlan's approval in a way she might not entirely understand. (Or maybe I'm reading too much into it.)

Heeeee, I'm totally going to pimp it, just haven't gotten around to it yet. This story makes me sad, because it was supposed to be CRACK and instead it ended up rather depressing. I'm glad you enjoyed it, though! Thanks very much! :D

Omggg, I read this back when shimmeryshine did and thought I left a comment and somehow didn't? BAD ME. So here I am again, typing words this time.

This was totally awesome and everything makes so much sense--being cavalier with death/confession, rough sex, teasing with both. I love that they steal away sekritly TO FIGHT. How fitting is that hahaha.

"But Kahlan," she says, gesturing towards her and hating the way she sounds almost desperate. "She'd make a great princess!"
LOOLLLL. SO close to avoiding The Pink Dress, yet so far.

Cara really doesn't know how, between herself and Kahlan, she ended up being the one with a conscience.
Annoying little thing! At least she didn't let it stop her from having a bit of fun.

I liked this a lot.

Hee, no worries, comments are loved and adored and doted upon, but lurking is a basic human right. BUT COMMENTS ARE AWESOME, ESPECIALLY YOURS.

LOL, Cara will never be able to avoid the pink dress, not on my watch. I ♥ Princess Cara. Which is why I bring up The Dress in everything I ever write.

SEKRIT FIGHTING. Aside from ~the sex montage~, the Cara/Kahlan fight scene was my favourite bit from the episode, so, WELL. Basically it's why I wrote the story. GRATUITOUS C/K FIGHT SCENES.

I'm sorry, I'm kind of sleep deprived and I have absolutely nothing useful to say, except thank you. :D
