The hardest part about my job is calling up a customer and telling them things like we can't finish your job today even though we agreed that we would. The silent pause that arises out of an exchange like this is slightly uncomfortable. People reactions vary from completely understanding to complete dissatisfaction. Managing people makes me feel completely incompetent, like I missed out on an important pre-req college course or two.
