*pets Remus consolingly*

Aw, the angst! But it's so good. But the angst! (Yeah, like I have room to talk.) Poor Remus, faced with all that...

Very nice. I think it works just fine. It's well written and so Remus.

You have hit on the reason why the Marauders, and Sirius especially, have always annoyed the everliving crap out of me. They're arrogant bullies, and unfortunately for Remus I don't doubt for a second that they'd get angry at him if he spoke up, much like Harry and Ron got mad at Hermione when she told McGonagall about the firebolt, in the third book. Hermione and Remus are very similar characters, I think, except Hermione isn't too afraid to stand up for her opinions.

Aw thanks.

You ... have given me a potentially scary idea. I may have to start writing again ... you'll see why if it doesn't suck.

Hermione and Remus are very similar characters, I think, except Hermione isn't too afraid to stand up for her opinions.

I've noticed that. So has Sirius, who remarked on it Too Late for Regrets. I'd link you to it, but I know you read it once already.
