You know, I remember I declared F/A absent, not dead when I had finished OotP and was down at the beach in Brighton with my fellow Geekmooters (I hope you see the irony in the fact I was on a beach in Brighton *coughAt the Eve of Thingscough*).
Oh, the story. Right. I love it. It sounded pretty real and it had the playfulness of F/A and it's a damn good explanation. Great job, sweetie :)

Well, the difference between you and me is that I am freakishly obsessed with F/A and I was actively looking for hints and when I didn't see any, I didn't even attempt to assume they'd broken up or anything. I just decided they'd never been together and it depressed me.
Now I'm doing the whole "broke up" thing and they're getting back together. Yes they are. ;)
