Okay, I've changed my mind for my personal canon after thinking some more about 4x03.

You're right this would be cool, though I can't quite see them managing it in the actual show, given how complicated it is. But I do like how it sort of explains Bobby and John falling out they way they apparently did.

It would totally have to be another flashback episode, and while I love it, that could also be overused. Oh, well, I love my own AU scenario.
