Sixth Sense

I haven't actually watched this movie in a long time, and I'd forgotten how much I really do like it. Poor Cole. Haley Joel Osment is just amazing. You'd think he really is seeing dead people in his scenes. It's all so deliciously spooky and touching and a wonderful, wonderful story, and now I really want to go see "Lady in the Water." I love Shyamalan's movies. They astound me, and I really love Haley Joel Osment in this movie - it's all the "I See Dead People!" parodies that made it wearisome.

That's nothing. They edited Cruel Intentions so they can play it. (Very badly edited, I might add. TNT's edition was bearable. ABC's Family just screamed film school reject.)

Yeah, and it wasn't his fault all those parodies were out there, and watching him actually deliver the line? Enough to make you forget all of 'em, because he just nailed it. I forgot how sweet a kid Cole was, with his "Mama?"s.

I know I always gather the kids 'round to watch a good sex scene! Maybe a gun fight or two... And besides, the only person who might be crazier then Tom Cruise is Gibson, and the kids have to be prepared!

DON'T SAY SOMETHING TERRIBLY CLEVER ABOUT ME NOT HAVING ANY KIDS I SWEAR

Oh, I do love that movie. :) And VERY weirdly enough, I JUST (as in, closed the window, checked the f-list) read a Sixth Sense fic. O_o Is this the universe telling me to watch it? Hmm.

Course, now all I can think about is how we seriously creeped my friend out when we left the theater and 3 of us began insisting that WE were dead and didn't know and had never actually made it to the movie; her bad driving had killed us.

The things we I remember.

Here being the fic. In an apocalyptic community that... makes me want to read about apocalypses.

Damn it, I'm in search of Batman Begins fic tonight! Stop getting distracted, self! =P

I believe that is what the universe is telling you. You'd best get on it. ;P

That sounds more "Others" than "Sixth Sense" to me, though. ;P

Alphabet

The Village is superb! Disturbing and clever at the same time!

See you soon!

See, I did not enjoy "The Village" very much. It wasn't horrible, and better than other movies I've seen, but I just couldn't get into it.

I can't believe Lumos is THIS WEEK! I'M SO EXCITED!

Don't forget about Unbreakable... I can't forgive him for that atrocity. I didn't like the Village either. I figure Lady in the Water is either going to be totally awful or really good. I liked Signs a lot, and The Sixth Sense is one of my favourite movies of all time so... yeah.

"Unbreakable" I didn't mind. "Signs" I loved. So 3 of the 4 I've seen from him have been worth it. And "The Village" was still all right, just a disappointment because it was so much worse than the others. So I'm hopeful for "Lady in the Water."
