I really hope you all take a moment to read this. It was forwarded to me in an email, but I despise forwards, so I'm putting it here.

It's reassuring to know that:

* there are people like Shay's parents, who instill in their sons the courage and confidence to try and do what others might tell them they cannot.

* there are kids like Shay, who learn that loving lesson and aren't afraid to put it in practice.

* there are young men who, at an early age, know what their priorities should be.

Aw, I think I've read this before, but I still got tears in my eyes. Shit like this (especially sports-related) will always, always get me.
