And all the more moving if you really think about it. Because it's hard enough to take a stand when you think there's a chance you *can* do something, and that's laudable enough in and of itself.

But to protect someone even when you know there's nothing that you can really do...

I really hope she's okay, too. D: I just...don't know what to think there though.

And yeah...that'd be REALLY low of him, killing Hinata off so that there can be NaruSaku without Hinata having to be sad in the background. :| And AUGH SASUKARIN = DO NOT WANT^9000

...I wonder if inwardly he'll blame Naruto for it, if only just a little. Because if Naruto hadn't been in that situation, Hinata wouldn't've tried to save him... I mean, Neji seems too logical these days to REALLY blame Naruto, but I know if it were me, I probably wouldn't be able to stop myself from faulting Naruto just a little, even if I never said a word of it aloud.

Then again, maybe we'll have a role reversal and Neji'll have to give him the Wake-Up Punch and the This Is Not Your Fault Speech. :3

I bet you 2 Aya cookies and an Omi cookie...and some Ken crumbs that its going to be your role reversal theory. And I want to see Naruto get punched...but I guess that'll happen regardless of which scenario comes true.
