LOL, How did Sly and the Family Stone get in there? Genre-wise, ABBA is more bizarre, but ABBA in turn has a bizarrely huge following, so that makes more sense.
I LOVEEE Sly and the Family Stone! I've listened to them for as long as I can remember. My mom just happened to have a few of their albums on vinyl and used to play them when I was younger, and apparently I'd dance my little heart out and cry when each song ended, haha [/nerd].
And as for the ABBA obsession, that came from my dad. Earlier this year he and I sat through Mama Mia! (aka THE worst movie of life. Pierce Bronson needs to stick to James Bond and GOD I absolutely HATE Colin Firth!) just because we're that in love with everything ABBA. It was basically the closest we could get to an ABBA concert.
Basically, I'm going to be "re-evaluated" at the end of this semester before they let me register. If my GPA still doesn't meet the requirement at the end of this semester, I have three options: 1.) dropping the major; 2.) changing majors; 3.) quitting school and crying over the epic fail that is my life.
The last option is looking preeeetty good right now :/
And OMGGG, Dexter = fucking brilliant. Definitely one of my all time favorite series. Although thanks to the freaking World Series (baseball is indeed America's pastime in that NO ONE GIVES A FUCK ABOUT IT ANYMORE), half of my shows (aka all my fox shows) are on hiatus for three weeks :/ Goodbye, Glee, Bones, and House. Just when they were all getting SOOOO good. Glee's mash-ups are made of so much winnn.

But so much YES to half your TV shows. The other ones, I don't watch, but I'm sure they're awesome too. I need to see Dexter, for real.
