  • Christmas was great! I didn't get much, but that's because I didn't know what to ask for. Think back to my last post, in which I went off on a random Pokemon rant. Oddly enough, my parents actually got me a Nintendo DSi and Pokemon White Version for Christmas. I haven't played Pokemon since I was like, eight, so it was hella weird using such a high ( Read more... )

Eh, I'll survive (hopefully). Bad luck is my middle name!

It was indeed a bit hectic. I can only hope 2012 brings better (and less hectic) things! Happy New Year to you too :)

Glad Christmas was fun! So funny about your parents getting you Pokemon. haha

Were you in the morning or afternoon ceremony at the O'Dome for graduation? I graduated the same day! So weird that we may have been sitting in the same room, graduating at the same time, having no idea that each other existed.

I also am fairly sure that I passed that Davie carnival on my way home from my open mic night on Tuesday. I swear, our paths are bound to cross sooner or later!

I graduated during the morning ceremony, I believe (it's all a blur to me now. I can't believe it's been eight months since graduation, ahhh!). I also stuck around for the afternoon ceremony to watch my roommate graduate, so I guess I was technically at both - meaning we actually were sitting in the same room without knowledge of each other's existence, haha.

I swear, our paths are bound to cross sooner or later!
Lol, I know right? Also, I was in downtown Fort Lauderdale for NYE. Apparently, our paths are constantly crossing without us knowing, lol.

Ahh, I graduated in the afternoon one, so we were, in fact, in the same room.

So weird about Fort Lauderdale too! If you saw a short, brunette girl walking around with a group of five guys, one of whom was just as tiny as the girl and had a red mohawk/fauxhawk...that would have been me and Kyle. hahaha

Also, sidenote: were you wearing a sequined dress for NYE? Did you notice how EVERY girl was wearing something sequined? I've never been so freaked out by fashion in my life. It was like an attack-of-the-clones experience.

lmao, I wasn't! I was just wearing a plain black mini-dress. SO MUCH SEQUINS, OMG. Apparently we missed the NYE Fashion!memo this year, because I definitely wasn't expecting so much...shine? Some of the dresses were cute; most were just...horrid.

And I don't think I saw a red faux-hawk walking around. Then again, I was a little preoccupied looking after my friends who couldn't quite handle the midnight champagne toast, lol.

Your birthday comment made me sad :(

Also, I'm thrilled you got a DS! Grown-up presents be damned!

It was indeed a sad birthday, but I'd spent the previous ten days trekking across the United States on a road trip, so I was a.) too broke to do anything fun, and b.) really behind on my reading, so I had no choice, lol.

And I'm pretty sure this is the best gift I've ever gotten from my parents, um, EVER. #soaddicted Who needs grown-up gifts, anyway?
