She was bouncing. She was standing still and bouncing. She was ecstatic. She could hardly move. She turned to Ben and just grinned at him, then jumped up and landed in his lap. "I love my State! I love it love it love it!!"

He laughed slightly as she landed, before pulling her closer. "My state did pretty well too."

She moved her arms around his neck, still grinning. "This is incredible! He won and...and...I've never loved my country so much!"

He grinned back at her. "History in the making -- right there."

"Yea," she nodded, her voice soft. "Something we'll grow up telling our children and grandchildren about." She hadn't exactly listened to her words, and had meant 'our' in a more broad sense.
