Your positions are always very black & white, and reality rarely is. Both lists are mostly true, although in the first list 5 was necessary to prevent the collapse of the economy w/o the bailout and stimulus, we might well be looking at something far more like 1932 rather than 2012. Also, 6 hasn't happened, and I don't expect that it will.

In any case, yes he's done both good and bad. he's not the only one Lyndon Johnson ended legal segregation in the US and literaly halved poverty in the US, he also kept us in a truly horrible and idiotic war.

OTOH, when you look at Shrub's accomplishments, I see almost nothing in the positive column and a whole lot of bad, and there's every indication that Romney would be just as bad.

I dearly wish we had an actual progressive party in the US, but your strategy of either not voting or voting for libertarians or fringe candidate who can't manage to get even 1% of the vote won't accomplish that.
