You might want to start telling your mice friends that you're going to be moving in the nearish future, so they can start finding new/safe places to winter. A new apartment complex may have mice incidentally, but if they detect mice (or if other tenants complain), they may perform seek & destroy missions on mice at the new place.

Just a heads up, so your friends remain safe.
