The morning starts surreally - my old pal Gary (he from England now in Perth, Oz) IM's me - "Come to Los Angeles this weekend! We'll have a great time!" I've been toying with the idea of driving to Memphis, TN next Monday to join him for a couple days as he bops around the USA. I'd just about talked myself out of it - but fly to LA at the drop of a hat? That's NUTS. Ok, I confess, I checked ticket prices and found flights for $420. Horrible hours and changes, but possible. No no no, this is ridiculous. Then he batted his eyelashes at me and reminded me of his accent. STOP! Stop foul temptor!! Stop trying to seduce me with promises of drives into the mountains and stuff! So I dunno yet if I'll do either - but oh so tempting, he is!
Miss K was incredibly quiet this morning, sitting in the recliner for about 3 hours, not moving a muscle. A little whiny - no fever, just tired. Finally, around 1, I said "let's go for kolaches!" The kolache place was still open but nearly OUT OF FOOD! *GASP* I picked up a few BBQ's for Sean for later. He's working out of town this weekend but they should heat up ok, whenever he gets back. He's addicted to the things now but is usually at work when they're open. Nothing worse than a craving that can't be filled ;)
Us girls went for "beauty day" and got our hair cut. Katie's looks REALLY CUTE - then to the grocery to pick up some yummy healthy foods and some ice cream and donut holes. Because it's the weekend, and we can. :)
The rest of the afternoon was very quiet, spent at the house - which gives my imagination WAY too much time.
If money were no object? I'd drop Katie off at mom's, then kidnap Sean and jet the two of us off to LA to hang out with the Gaz-meister. They'd get along great, even if they couldn't understand each other's accents, they both speak "guitar" :) And I'd get to spend a few days with two of the HOTTEST men on the planet.
Sigh. When did I get grown up and boring?
