Kyuhyun's always liked maths, and especially geometry. There's something in the way the shapes are formed, new patterns born out of old ones, that attracts him. Kyuhyun's always loved shapes.

Sometimes, when he thinks about people, he imagines them in terms of shapes. And Kyuhyun? He's a rectangle, head just brushing the upper rim, arms braced against the edges of the tall, long shape. Or maybe a triangle because there's something innately idealistic about them, and he wishes he could be that. He remembers that one architecture class he had taken, and the advice of using triangles when possible. Always sturdy and unshakable.

But even he has to admit he isn't perfect -- he isn't an equiangular triangle; all perfect, even sides and sixty-degree angles, nor is he an isosceles triangular that had one foot through the doorway of geometric perfection. Kyuhyun knows that if he's a triangular, it's undeniable that he'd be one of those strange, angular formations. Scalene. Awkward. A class of its own, though that's debatable whether that's a good thing or not.

Sungmin, on the other hand, was always a nice, round oval. Dependable but sometimes unpredictable. Lovable. Understandable.

Kyuhyun also understands that a triangle would never be fit with an oval, which is why Kyuhyun-the-triangle is perfect with Zhou Mi-the-(isosceles)-triangle. This is how he justifies it.
