20 minutes fic challenge
Hello everyone, the 20 min fic challenge we ran in February produced some fantastic fic and art so we thought it might be fun to run it again.
It is quite simple just pick one of the prompt words hidden below the cut and write a fic inspired by it in the following twenty minutes. No thinking about it, just pick the prompt and start straight away. No editing (unless you finish a couple of minutes inside the deadline) just write for 20 minutes and then share your stories with us.
And if our graphic artists feel inspired by the prompt as well, we'd love to see what twenty minutes can bring us in the way of icons, graphics and sketches.
Once you have finished please post your fic as a separate post to the comm or in the comments to this post (either as full text under an LJ-cut or as a link to your own journal). Please remember to use the story header information detailed on the profile page in the posting guidelines section with whichever option you pick.
And when posting your finished fic please do not reveal the prompt words before the LJ-cut of your post. The idea is for people to see the prompt and start right away i.e. just 'click and go'! If the prompt words appear before LJ-cuts in other posts it makes it difficult for people to remain oblivious until they have time to produce their own fill.
Finally we'll leave this challenge open for a couple of weeks and then post up a master list of everything that is written for it.
