Found this while snuffling around on the KarlUrbanInternational tumblr:

Karl loved working on Almost Human. He’s going to focus on films so he can have more family time, awww.

The past tense does not bode well for renewal. Oh, well, it was fun while it lasted, and hopefully Fox will release the series on DVD.

Though maybe Karl's covering his bases?
I'm thrilled that he has movie options.

Someone said he made it sound hopeful at the convention, so I"m not losing hope yet. Maybe he's holding out for more money. LOL

Apparently the lady mixed up Almost Human with another tv show.

Yeah, she also states as a fact that AH got cancelled. That's a little premature. She must've gotten stuff mixed up. Don't take the bait.

Karl only said he would not do another show after AH which is completely understandable. He has two kids that need him and I do understand he cannot really afford being away from them for 6 months without ever seeing them in person. If it gets renewed, I really hope he and the producers find a way to work around that. I also don't see Michael Ealy being too happy with being away from his son for that long. I'm sure they're in talks about that.
