Drive-by comment :)

Backstory action sequence for John.

One of the first glimpses of tech - John's home computer.

All of "Are You Receiving?"
- Dorian's fight scene
- Dorian mimicking John's voice
- Stairwell scenes
- 50 Shades of Purple

"Who's a happy little toaster?"

The moment where John realises the truth of the medium psychic's aura prediction.

The paper note.

Dorian punching Paul.

Dorian showing John his assets.

John's reaction to having his balls scanned!

Any scene where John's wearing his tac gear and thigh holster.

That shoulder holster.

Dorian rescuing John from the memory reader.

And surprisingly - the find-you-wherever-you-are-bullet. This was so f-ing scary it has to go on the list, brilliant subplot because who says that particular tech isn't already in use.

There's loads more but these jumped out at me when I read the post.
LOVING the show!

Oh yes those are all fabulous and I would especially like to second the shoulder holster, it is a thing of beauty *happy sigh*.

Sure is, though IMHO it will never outshine a single-sided, double-strapped thigh holster :D

I also wanted to list:

John deciding to olive oil his leg.

John shooting the MX.

Love this show ♥

Okay have been thinking about this since putting the post up and there are tons that I love like the first meeting between John and Dorian but my fav moments are the bantering between the leads like:

John: Is that all for one person? Dude, put it away. Wait, you are a robot. What do you do with it?
Dorian: Probably the same you do with yours. Nothing.
John: I do plenty with mine.

And especially the ride along with John, Dorian and the other DRN e.g. http://youtu.be/n75Pm0r-3Ww

I love the moments when Dorian connects to other androids, like when he needs to watch the deactivation of the sex worker robot, or when he erased the memory of the other version of his own model but keeps the most important memory.

I love anything where there is obvious slashiness between John and Dorian, including the great examples mentioned in the other comments above.

I like it when Kennex says the wrong thing entirely, like when he unintentionally freaks out kids.

I like any moment of bonding between Maldonado and Kennex.

love the moments when Dorian connects to other androids,

Those are great aren't they, I really like how it not only reveals things about the other androids but highlights how Dorian is different / similar as the case may be.

I love this series so much I'm hard-pressed to think of only individual moments and scenes. I think Michael Ealy is doing a brilliant job, but I'm also enjoying Karl Urban's subtle performance of a man struggling with anger and trust issues, especially when it comes to machines. I love the way he looks at Dorian from time to time, reflecting on what Dorian has said or done, obviously thinking about the world from Dorian's perspective -- as if that mattered, as if Dorian isn't just a toaster or bullet catcher or coffee warmer which, I think, John would be much more comfortable with in terms of attitude toward androids. But he's always asking if Dorian is okay, treating him increasingly as an equal, being concerned about his wishes and well-being ie getting him out of the MX dorm ( ... )

They really are doing fantastically aren't they, I can't imagine anyone else in the roles.

What happens if they decide they've had enough of being sent for coffee, told to shut up, being blasted by an irate cop etc?
That is an interesting idea, we don't really know how many of them there are although it must be good numbers but if they turned against humanity it would be devastating.

When John apologized to the man for not being able to get the bomb collar off and looked like he meant it. So often, it's just a platitude, and five seconds after the "tragedy," the cops are like, "Well, that's over. Let's roll."

Oh, great observation and you remind me of something else I really like about what they're doing on this show. They are the best I've ever seen at making the victims 'real', making them three dimensional so that we identify with them and care about them. So many shows don't bother connecting with the humanity of the victim but this show does it week after week. So well done.

I shall have to rewatch that now :) It is great what that shows about the character.
