I. Love. It. XD You can probably guess what I'm refering to. XD But tbh I love the whole episode. The clone thing was nice, the tech was really cool and Dorian flipping that van, omg...*__* And I liked Maya. At first I feared she'd be annoying with the psychic thing (I have some 'friends' who are really into such stuff and so that's always a bit of a trigger for me) but she turned out pretty sweet and nice, especially in her last scene. :)
And of course - Karl Bourbon. XDXDXD *laughing forever* That one time Karl was the fic version of Bones. While not even playing Bones for a change.
A lot of this is taken verbatim from my comment on the first discussion post but I got there so late that everyone had already moved on so hey, may as well recycle! Edited for slight critical distance :)
The oversharing car snark is still my absolute favourite thing in this episode and reminds me that so far, putting those two in a car is rapidly becoming my surefire happy place *g* Everything from Dorian insisting John help him out finding his own place (or my preference - John gets a roommate *g*) to Dorian sexy-talking at John (even if it is in Stahl's voice). Hell, every time I hear "Is that all for one person?" inside my head I now break out in giggles. All for you, John. All for you. *g*
Oh, and Dorian flipping a fucking van just rocks my world. \o

I am in total agreement with the John/Stahl match up. It feels forced and awkward.
They have only said a handful of words to each other and they are rarely in the same room together for more than a few minutes and we are suppossed to believe that they are potential couple material?
I would be okay with the physically attracted to each other game for a while (that is totally believeable) but it it waaaay to early in the game to be setting up a canon ship. Let us get to know the characters individually before pairing them up together.
I am not really much into canon ships and I feel like most shows are jumping aboard that bandwagon.
