Sooooo what was with the discussion about "where you want the finger to go"? Is my mind just broken by the internet or are they like "Here, fangirls, here!!!!"?

I rewind the whole scene like 5 times because I couldn't believe he REALLY said it... but then again... Dorian scanned his balls, so... *coughs* Aand I thought I had a way too dirty mind, but seems like if so, I'm not the only one :P

I already addressed my main issue within the new episode on tumblr and got some really nice answers and information. :D

Beside that - I LOVED that episode! How John calmed Paige, how Dorian hat a sarcastic/funny comment on almost everything, the banter (Reginald! XD), the mutual unspoken 'we're partners' thing... I simply can't translate all my feels, words fail me. :D

And yeah - 50 shades of purple? If you'd like, I could put it somewhere else? Seriously? I had to stop and laugh a lot. XD

And yay, Rudy! More Rudy! Next week, even more Rudy!

I also loved how John calmed Paige, he showed a real understading of what she needed to hear.

50 shades of purple? - loved that line as well.

And I second the call for more Rudy.

And for more EVERYBODY. I guess they want to establish the rapport between John and Dorian because that's what's going to sell it, but I hope in time we'll get to see episodes built around the other characters, as well.

*waves enthusiastically*

YAY!!! I'm here and I've now seen the pilot and the first two eps *dances*

OMFG! HOW AWESOME IS THIS SHOW!!!!!

But this ep, fantastic build up of tension, LOL interaction between John and Dorian and of course, the finger discussion.

Before I saw the show, I was automatically drawn to John - hello, his name's John, he's all emotionally damaged, has dark hair and wears a thigh holster - there was no way I wasn't going to be drawn to him :) But this episode showed me Dorian's potential in his role of co-lead character. The writers treat him as more than a cardboard cutout, more than a pillar that holds up the star or a foil to make Kennex look good. They're a team and it's already showing that it'll be a friendship as well as a working relationship ( ... )

Heya! I'm new here, too! I've been watching the show since it started, and just found the comm. I HAVE BEEN SO EXCITED FOR THIS SHOW.

And I am SO GLAD I'm not the only one with a love for a handsome face with thigh holsters! *HIGH FIVES*

I LOVE the playful banter between John & Dorian. I LOVE IT. I love how it's becoming more frequent the longer they're partners, too. It's going to be SUCH a fun run as we explore their partnership!

*high fives you back* WELCOME :)

I did it backwards *chuckles* I knew about the comm since it's inception and have been following all the pre-show buzz - even did an actor profile for Karl, but I live in a country that is a little slow on the uptake, despite being a day ahead of both the US and Canada, so I've only just seen the first three eps.

My first love is SGA and of course one gorgeous TDH Lt.Col. John Sheppard, so I was immediately excited and embarrassingly eager to see AH. I do SOOO love my thigh holsters, my number one kink :D

The banter between John and Dorian is brilliant, if the writers keep it up it'll develop their relationship superbly.

I'm having such fun and it's been a while since I had that from a show.

Now, I'm off to stalk your journal and see what else we have in common LOL!

Good point about the stairwell sequence--at first it reminded me a bit of DOOM, and not only because of Karl, but I agree--it was an intriguing mix of cop stuff and banter, including the funny sequence of John patching up Dorian with gross things he found in the trash and then being visibly worried about him going in alone.

It was awesome seeing Dorian do his thing, but it also seems to have made him more aware of his own mortality, which is a nice carryover from the last episode. Unlike us, Dorian hasn't had much time to get used to the implications of his own consciousness. It will be really interesting to see that play out.

I love the slight character breaks from the two leads, and this time it was Karl losing his accent on an exit line (I think it was "See ya later") and Michael bopping along to "Benny and the Jets." Very cute!

I was disappointed by Naren Shankar's departure, too, as I was hoping for more hard sci fi elements (Mr. Shankar's cred is impeccable in this department).

I'm loving the sharp writing and the fun, complex dynamic between John and Dorian. I wish I found the crime plots more compelling, though. The futuristic elements are cool, but so far it's just creepy organized crime syndicates. It would be nice to see the development of a Big Bad or some other villain who doesn't disappear at the end of the episode.
