Has this Bang been cancelled for lack of interest? Polls that were to be closed on the 23rd are still open, and there is no check-in post. I'd like to know if I need to be pounding away, or if I can relax and consider other projects if desired.

No it hasn't been cancelled. Patt and I live in different time zones and I've been ill so things got a little off track. The poll is closed; we haven't announced the results because a lot of non-participants voted, which makes the result less than straightforward. The checkpoint will be posted as soon as I can get hold of Patt.
