*sighs* Gotta love it when someone freaks you out for absolutely no reason.

I'd gone a little apeshit with my credit card lately. Friday, after assuming a payment to my card had been received I tried to use it and got declined. I called the 1-800 number to investigate what was going on, and the higher-up with the credit department told me that my ( Read more... )

gah, that sucks. My bank is also rather fond of not depositing money right away so that they can squeeze another $30 overdraft fee from me

I've got them to credit me about $60 in overdraft fees before... It was the day after Christmas, so... Banks still suck!

Mark Burhele pitched a gem against the Indians for the first home season openner since 1990. Wish I could have been there!

The question is, can Freddy Garcia repeat such a sparkling outing today against the tribe.

How in the name of God have the Sox never opened the season at USC?? I could see a year, or two, or three...but fourteen seasons opening on the road?? That's nuts!!

If I was you, I would have taken the day off to take in such a fine occasion. Truthfully, I usually try to make arrangements to go to the home opener...I believe this will be five years in a row when I go on Friday.

Oh, I have faith in Freddy - a lot more faith than the completely overpaid and under proven Contreas...

Honestly it didn't occur to me that they would actually start the season at home - I am so used to them starting in Cleveland or KC that I over looked the first month's worth of games and started looking at who they were hosting for interleague games - next year I will be there for openning day at the Cell - cross your fingers - there should be plenty of good seats available since they play second fiddle in this town.

Good luck this season to Toronto - we gotta hope that they finish better than last year!
