Break is in the library today, and he is in a snit. The library is a familiar place, to him -- why? Because he's been here every day at least once, often twice, ever since he's been in the mansion. That's over four months of daily visits, now, all in pursuit of books full of his most beloved stories; the ones he's relied on for safety and stability

Hatter stretches himself out from under a couch situated in the library, laying on his back, watching Break upside down for a moment. His head tilts to catch sight of the bit of chaos already made, books everywhere with shelves bare.

"Break, dear," Yep, he's still partially under that couch, hat rested on his chest with hands folded over the top of it- after he had reached under said couch and tugged it free from the shadowy bit underneath it.

Break, who is busy making book piles with the historical fiction all mixed up with the biology and also the bodice-rippers because it is bound to make at least three peoples' lives harder later, is walking away from the couch just then. Without stopping, he smoothly spins around and returns to drape himself over the back of it, legs up in the air as he scoots as far down as possible in order to peer at the Chain properly.

"Hatter," he says, "I am in quite a mood."

No shit.

"I see," sniffing faintly, setting that hat aside as he tugs Break down a little closer, "I can reach the higher shelves easily, if you'd like some help. Maybe a bit of misplacement to a shelf or three." Or managing to get one of th other couches ontop of a shelf.

They can be in a mood together.

Break slides down to curl next to Hatter for a moment, flipping over so he can plop his boots up on the couch. Boots on the couch cushions, oh yes.

"Who do we not like today, Hatter? We should make a list, and put all their favorite books on the top shelves after we clear them, and then hide all the ladders." A pause. "We should also try to get a couch on top of a shelf or somefing. Shelf-couch sculpture?"

Hatter is the best of all the things.
