DragonCon 2007

Ok, so.  Reading that last Potter book and seeing the last movie has made me suddenly want to go to this years DragonCon.  Especially since the Weasley twins will be there again (yey!).  It's August 31st-Sept 3rd in Atlanta Georgia and there are a few hotel rooms left.  To stay 3 nights it would cost about $200 a person.  It's one of the nerdiest

Is it a gaming convention? Fantasy convention? Neither? Both?

It's just kind of a sci-fi/fantasy convention. It's huge. And full of nerdy fun. If you don't have a costume, though, it sucks. Anyone wearing a costume is guaranteed to feel like a celebrity because you won't be able to walk more than 5 feet without having people begging to have their picture taken with you.
