Yeah. So, given that I haven't drunk enough water today, I've just spent the last five hours alternately feeling stiff and odd around the middle, and getting squirmed firmly at.

She's taken to spending hours at a time awake lately, too, which is both cool and somewhat distracting.

Yeah, if it gets bothersome, the best thing to do is drink a full glass of water and lie down on your *left* side until the feeling goes away.

Of course, as the actual event impends, that trick won't work.

I've had trouble for years getting myself to actually drink plain water.

Yes, I know this is problematic, but knowing it's so doesn't help me do it -- there have been times when my eyes feel like I've got potato-chips on them, I'm so dehydrated, but I'm sitting there with a full glass of water in front of me for hours and the level only drops an inch.
