To clip or not to clip......that is the question!

I'm rarely in a quandry regarding the basic care for my horse but I am dithering a-plenty this yar with regards to his first clip

That's a tough one. Could you just give him the lightest of clips, like a gut and gullet, to keep the sweat off but enough fuzz on to keep him warm at night?

I have thought of this but he gets sweaty *everywhere* (He is allll man! lol) Usually he has a full clip with just his legs and face left on. Unfortunately it's all or nothing with him.
Welshes - so difficult in every way Good thing they are adored by thier owners eh?
