I'm thinking By the Christmas Tree - gentle, gentlemanly, affectionate, romantic and a little innocent and unexpected, and your answers to what's your favorite part of Christmas and do you enjoy snow questions really fit! I did consider By the Candlelight as well but since you half-x'd innocent and unexpected I have to go with By the Christmas Tree since those two words fit it perfectly in my opinion.
