I don't even know why, but it made me so sad. Maybe because I've slept in the bathtub before and it seems to be the thing that people do when they're desperate. So, so sad.

I've slept in the bathtub before too!!!
The bathroom is my safe haven and I once slept on the bathroom floor. The tub is much more comfy in my opinion.
