"So I saw you getting friendly with John yesterday." Zack commented as they sat in the blondes car, Alex driving them both home.
The two of them were having some well needed alone time after not seeing each other properly for a month.
"Yeah, he's really cool. You talked to him as well didn't you?" Alex replied, completed oblivious to what Zack was implying.
Zack snorted and punched Alex lightly on the arm.
"Dude, I said that you were getting a bit /friendly/." Alex went bright red.
"What?! No no no, never. I wouldn't get with him in a thousand years, I could never do that to J-" He shut his mouth quickly and looked at Zack with wide eyes.
Fortunately Zack was too busy laughing to listen to all that Alex had said. "I was just saying that 'cus he's a real nice guy okay. I think you two would suit well."
Alex sighed. "He's really nice I guess. But I don't know, I just don't think I could be with him, especially right now - it wouldn't be fair on..."
"On who?" Zack asked with a raised eyebrow.
"No one," Alex answered too quickly, going bright red again.
"Do you.. like someone?" Alex looked down and nodded. "Who?"
"I can't say!" Alex almost yelped, trying not to swerve of the road.
Zack pondered for a moment, attempting to figure out who.
"Do I know them?" A nod. "Do they like you back?" Alex reluctantly nodded.
The blonde sighed, "Look Zack, I really wish I could tell you okay. But I just can't. You'd think it's weird and I don't want to lose him and they're a really important part of my life."
Zack grinned, "Do you love him? It sounds like it."
Alex stopped the car and turned off the ignition as they reached Zack's house. He sighed almost dreamily to himself.
"Yes. More than anything in the world."
"Wow, he must really have you wrapping round his finger."

Alex giggled as Jack pressed him up against the wall the second he opened the front door for him.
"Jacky, stop, Mom's in the other room."
"Ssshh, she doesn't even know I've arrived yet," He muttered under his breath, "Besides, I didn't come for her, I actually wanted to talk to you about something."
He grinned against Alex's lips.
Alex smiled back and kissed him for a second, stretching his arms around Jack's neck. "What is it?"
"I love you and I want to take you on a date. A real one. Out of town so we don't need to be afraid of being caught. Friday night?"
Alex felt his heart race and he nodded eagerly. "Yes yes yes, I love you so much."
"Not possible," Jack smiled and have him one more kiss before winking and walking towards the kitchen. "See you then."
