A/N: Yeah, so, this is incredibly crap. I'm so sorry, I've just had my mind on so many other things because of this damn Christmas period, and it's also the reason for my lack of updating, so again, I apologise! I'll make it up to you though somehow in future chapters <3
Tumblr. Masterpost. Jack’s brown eyes widened, and he opened his mouth to speak; yet, he seemed incapable of stringing a sentence together. “W-what...?” Was all he managed to stammer.
Threading his fingers through his fringe, Alex turned his cheek to look away from the younger boy.
“I-I love you,” He said, “Last night, when we were in bed, you started to say something. You said, ‘I think I...’ a-and then you just fell asleep. I didn’t know what you meant, but then I got to thinking, what if you thought you loved me? I-it was stupid to jump to conclusions like that, but if you loved me, did I love you?”
As the boy continued to speak, Jack’s fingers lightly brushed against Alex’s jaw before pushing at the bone gently so that the elder of the two’s eyes were on his once more.
“I thought about everything that we went through, like, and it just made sense. E-even though we argue a lot, that’s what happens in healthy relationships. There are some days when I just don’t even want to look at you, but I do, because you’re the most beautiful thing I’ve ever seen. You do my head in, you make me want to rip my fucking hair out, but I wouldn’t want it any other way.” The confession slipped past Alex’s soft lips with ease, as his eyes remained locked with Jack’s, “Despite our fighting, you make me so fucking happy, Jack. When you’re at school, sometimes I just feel alone, because even though I complain about it, I like having you breathing down my neck, or being under my feet. I like it when you poke me repeatedly and when I do it back, you bite my finger, and bloody hard, too! I just... I can’t imagine not having that, any of that, or not having you.” He sighed, leaning forward so that his forehead rested against Jack’s, “And as I pulled you in closer to my chest last night, I thought, you know what, I do love you, even if you don’t love me, I don’t expect you to-“
Alex was cut short as Jack connected their lips, his hand sliding from Alex’s cheek to the boy’s neck, his fingers curling around the boy’s nape. Eyes shutting, the English boy, whose hands grasped Jack’s skinny hips and pulled him in closer, gladly accepted the rude interruption.
Slowly pulling back, Jack caught his breath so that he could reply, “Sh, okay? You were right...” He murmured softly, “I was going to say, ‘I think I love you’, but I’m glad I didn’t.”
Alex’s eyelids fluttered open as his top two teeth sunk into the corner of his bottom lip, and as his heart sunk into the pit of his stomach, he almost wished he didn’t say anything.
“S-so you don’t think you love me?” He choked, and fuck, he didn’t want to cry.
Jack shook his head, “Nope,” and he pressed a kiss to the tip of the other’s nose, “I know I love you.”
Alex’s lips jutted outwards to a pout as a hand lightly shoved Jack’s shoulder, but there was no denying the happiness that sparkled in his eyes. “You had me so worried...” He whined, causing Jack to laugh. “I thought you didn’t love me, and I made that whole speech just to be rejected.” He admitted.
“That was the point, it made it much more... dramatic?” Jack teased, and the other boy had to smile.
Alex sighed and rolled his eyes, before pulling Jack against his torso and holding him tightly. His hands roamed the younger boy’s back, thumbs drawing circles occasionally, “It’s like we’re some shitty soap opera or something.” He chuckled softly, “Don’t scare me again, okay? And don’t you ever think you’re not good enough for me, or that you don’t deserve me again, you hear? ‘Cause baby, we’re meant for each other, I know it.”

Alex had never expected to fall in love at eighteen. He was positive that love was something that happened when you’re older, when you’re mature and you know what you’re going to do with your life. That was probably the reason why he never bothered looking for such a thing ‘cause he knew the consequences.
He’d heard the conversations of the young teenage girls in the corridors at school, sobbing into their best friend’s shoulder because they’re ‘one and only’ dumped them after a quick shag. That wasn’t even real, merely infatuation, a strong attraction, but it looked like it still hurt. So, imagine the pain when you fall in love, actual love, but then things go wrong... it’s terrifying.
After losing Daniel, relationships were the last thing on Alex’s mind. He didn’t want to become close with anybody in fear of them leaving, but Jack was just different.
That stupid kid with the larger than average nose, so skinny that he would probably blow away in the wind, and with a voice that could drive anybody crazy, he was worth the whole entire world. Alex was prepared to risk absolutely everything for his other half, though he knew too well what could happen in the long run.
And as he lie on the carpet on his stomach, metres away from the other boy, Alex knew that he had no choice in falling for the American. Fate wanted them to be together, he was sure of it.
“Ugh, Jack, we’ve been watching the Disney Channel for at least two hours now, can we please put something else on?” The English boy asked, rolling over onto his back. It was two days after his confession to Jack, and that meant only four days until Christmas which also meant stupid marathons of shitty shows that nobody cared about.
Stretching out his limbs like a starfish, he stifled a yawn because honestly, there was only so much of ‘Sonny with a Chance’ that he could take. Demi Lovato made his skin crawl, her voice and that ridiculous smile; he didn’t understand why Jack enjoyed her so much.
“Just until this episode ends, okay? Chad is so fucking cute...” The other boy responded, his jaw hanging open and eyes glued to the screen.
Apparently it wasn’t Demi that Jack liked.
“Excuse me?” Alex asked, propping himself on his elbows to glare daggers at the other boy.
A playful smirk was returned, “Aw, poor likkle Alex is jealous of Chad Dylan Cooper.” Jack cooed, though he had to admit that it was adorable.
Alex had always been one to suffer from envy, and he was a little possessive. Yet, Jack brushed it aside because he simply saw it as the other boy caring too much. A little bit of jealousy is perfectly fine, at least it shows the other person that you’re afraid to lose them to somebody else.
“He’s not even attractive, he has weird teeth.” Alex huffed, though he was one to talk, what with his buck, chipmunk teeth.
He settled back down, his head resting on his palms as Jack began to giggle.
The younger boy crawled from the sofa onto the floor, “Oh, and you are?” He teased as he knelt over the boy, his knees either side of the boy’s waist.
Raising an eyebrow, Alex was slightly confused by what his boyfriend was doing, “Uh... yes, I am. Jack what are-“ He paused as Jack’s fingers lightly tugged up his t-shirt, exposing his navel.
The other boy slowly stroked a finger over the warm skin, Alex holding his breath to keep back a light moan. Pathetic how such a small touch had a strong effect, but when you were still as innocent as the day you were born, it was just natural.
“Jack, seriously...” Alex warned, though not too sure why, because he was beginning to enjoy the other boy’s hands roaming his stomach.
The younger male didn’t make any attempt to stop his actions as he lowered his face to the boy’s hip, his lips softly pressing against the bone.
As if Jack’s hot breath against his bare flesh wasn’t enough to make Alex squirm, his mouth certainly was.
Shutting his eyes tightly, Alex tried to picture images in his mind that could be considered turn offs. He was trying to ignore Jack’s touches because they hadn’t been this far before. Crazy, you would have expected them to be at it like rabbits.
Was Jack trying to make a move?
Alex was fucking praying that the other male wasn’t, because he didn’t know if he was ready. I mean, this was a big thing for him; he knew he should be comfortable around his partner, but he was scared.
What if he wasn’t... up to standards, down there?
Oh God, paranoia was beginning to sink in, and as Jack’s thumbs hooked around the loops of the jeans that were starting to become comfortable, he wasn’t helping.
Alex remained silent though, it seemed he couldn’t find his voice behind the groans and whimpers.
Jack softly pressed kisses below Alex’s navel, before pausing above the boy’s jeans. He lightly began to nibble at the skin, whilst his cheeks hollowed, the blood beginning to rush to the surface as he did so. That was just his plan all along, he wanted to make a mark, he wanted to prove that Alex belonged to him and he wasn’t about to let the boy go, especially not for some attractive male on a kid’s television programme.
The older teen’s fingers tried to claw into the carpet as Jack’s lips remained connected to his stomach, the boy was adding more and more force as he nipped and sucked, the mark gradually becoming larger and darker.
“J-Jack,” Alex whined, his breaths short, “St-stop, please.”
The American boy withdrew his mouth, and quickly took a glance to Alex’s stomach. Fuck, he was proud of that love bite. He was positive that would stay for at least a week, if not longer.
“Are you alright?” He asked, oblivious to how his mouth had affected the other male.
Alex nodded, peeling down his shirt to cover his navel and new slag tag. “I’m fine.” He sighed, his head spinning.
It was stupid how much of an effect Jack had on him. Something as lame as a love bite was enough to turn him on, and he felt ashamed in wanting more. He wanted to feel Jack’s cool fingers beneath his cotton boxers, maybe even those lips swallowing him. It wasn’t wrong to want that from your lover, was it?
But Alex hated it. He was scared of seeing Jack in a sexual manner, frightened that he may be a disappointment to the other boy from his lack of experience, or even worse, he’d become dependant on the pleasure and their relationship would just focus on their climaxes.
“Okay...” Jack answered back, unconvinced. His knees shuffled up Alex’s sides, before he leant back to sit onto the male’s lap, more specifically his crotch.
“Yep, thanks for that, Jack. Make things even better by pressing your fucking arse against my manhood.”
Alex tilted his chin toward the ceiling as his hands covered his face, “You are such a tease.” He finally groaned as Jack subconsciously leant all of his weight onto him.
Cocking his head, the younger boy pouted, “I’m not doing any-“ He stopped, and he felt guilty that he smirked, “Oh...” He said, realising just exactly what he was doing.
Leaning forward and raising his hips, he brushed his lips to Alex’s gingerly, “M’sorry...” He whispered against the boy’s mouth, “Sometimes I just forget how irresistible I am, and how horny I can make people.”
Alex’s hands grasped Jack’s shoulders and he tossed the boy over so that he was lying face up beside him.
“Ow...” The younger boy whined, arching so that his hand could massage the small of his back, “I was kidding, jeez. You’re so touchy.”
Alex frowned, pulling himself up into a sitting position. “Shut up,” He snapped, “You know how I feel about... about that stuff.”
“Sex.” Jack rolled his eyes as Alex seemed incapable of even uttering the three lettered word in his presence
The English boy’s nose wrinkled in disgust as his boyfriend mentioned the unspeakable word. “Stop, it makes me cringe.”
“Alex, come on, it’s just a word. Anyway, you know I wouldn’t do anything like that without your consent. I was just giving you a damn hickey, so stop crying about it.” Jack muttered, outstretching his arms, the joints of his shoulders clicking. “But I’m sorry, okay? I wont do it again, even though I know for a fact that you enjoyed it.”
Alex scowled, “Yeah, how?”
Laughter bubbled from Jack’s gut, was he being serious or...?
“Babe, you have the cutest moans I’ve ever heard.”
And so the wrestling began.
Grappling the boy into a headlock, Alex’s fingers curled into his palm to make a fist. “You’re gonna regret saying that, Barakat.” He hissed, using the boy’s surname to sound more menacing. Really, they both knew he was messing around.
Gently, Alex’s knuckles brushed against Jack’s head as the younger boy tried to wriggle from his grip, “Alex, come on, I said I was sorry. Please, no, stop. Get your fist off my head!” He cried, his fingernails sinking into Alex’s forearm.
“Noogie!” The older boy exclaimed, adding pressure onto the boy’s head as his knuckles rubbed vigorously against his scalp. He felt like he was a kid again play fighting with his friends. He missed that, he missed his childhood.
Jack’s legs were kicking in every direction, “A-Alex!” He screamed, “It hurts, oh my God, you’re such a fucking bully. Gerroff!” And it was only when his mobile started to play the Mission Impossible theme tune that Alex finally released his grip.
Collapsing onto the carpet, Jack caught his breath as his hand dove into his pocket to fetch his phone.
There was still that stupid grin across Alex’s face as he leant over to gently press a kiss to Jack’s mouth, “Love you?” He offered, Jack making an unsatisfied noise in response.
“Psh, don’t think that ‘cause you’ve said it now you can use it as a way to make everything better.” He huffed, not bothering to check the caller I.D. “But whatever, love you too.” He finally added after giving in to Alex’s puppy-dog gaze.
Pressing the green button, he held his phone to his ear. “Hello?” Jack asked, his fingers loosely accepting Alex’s, knowing too well that his boyfriend would probably try to annoy him throughout this conversation.
But he wasn’t expecting the voice on the other line, and when they spoke, his body seemed to freeze completely.
It was only after a few seconds of silence that he was eventually capable of stuttering, “M-Mom...?”
