Goodbye Blues

Dec 14, 2007 23:33

Look! Look at the Eight who can't seem to stop smiling or get rid of the spring in his step or just...anything.

In case it isn't apparent enough, he is a very happy being.

Really, you could do anything to him right now, or just about at least, and it wouldn't shake him not this night!

So, come on, just come up to him and say hi. You know you

Juliet Capulet is watching him from a distance. It's not that she means to stare, but it is not very often to run into someone who is practically shining with bright, happy energy.

Not even in the Inn.

Sure, most people here tend to be happy, but... bouncing, grinning kind of happy that you just can't shake? Not very common anywhere.

She hesitates a moment, and then decides to stop being rude and introduce herself. Juliet tilts her head to the side and smiles, shyly. "Hello! I did not mean to interrupt, but your happiness is quite... hard not to be drawn toward."

"Oh, is it?" He gives the girl a curious look but winds up breaking out into a grin before long. "Well good, I'd much rather draw people closer because of my joy than my sorrow." A nod, affirming his own words.

"Who are you," he then thinks to ask, mimicking her head tilt from earlier. "I don't believe we've ever met, which seems unfortunate since you seem like a lovely girl!"

Juliet laughs, smiling warmly. Really, his mood is quite infectious and she is very glad for that.

"I quite wholly agree."

She blushes only slightly and curtsies a little, something about him brings back traditions and manners from her own time that have slowly been slipping away from her all this time.

"I am Juliet Capulet, sir. It is a pleasure to meet you on such a happy day for you."

He smiles at her courtesy and gives her a bow in return. "Well Juliet, it's an pleasure for me as well. After all, if you are the same Juliet Capulet that I am familiar with, I must say that it's quite an honor to meet you."

Yes Juliet, he may or may not be a bit of a fan. Really though, is anyone surprised here?

"Could I ask what you're doing in such a place like this? You seem so out of your own time. Not that the Inn doesn't have away of doing that to people but you seem a bit extreme if you ask me."

As an afterthought he adds, "I'm the Doctor by the way. Sorry, I didn't mention that sooner."
