Okay sooo this is ridiculously wonderful. Love how they bond over Lizzie-Darcy grossness, that New Year’s half-kiss, and the slow slow burn into more. Also the way you write Lydia is just fabulous, how she’s matured but still just very much Lydia.

And 24 hours, that is insane and impressive and amazing.

That's what gets me, I think, about you - you just have such a high and steady caliber of writing, like sometimes I just want to shake you and ask you if you've ever written something sub-par or even just all right in your life, because your stuff is always just so good.

And see, lately I've thought about this a few times, about how if I tell people I love their stuff too much if it'll just start to sound like background noise, and I'd hate for that to happen. Hate for you not to believe me when I say that this is just so stupidly good. The only reason I tell you I love all your stuff is because you're an infuriatingly good writer.

Here are some things about this story that I should say: you write Lydia ridiculously well - a Lydia who's grown and matured and is trying to be better but still Lydia at her core. (Your ability to stretch characters into more than canon gives us while still keeping them so very them is something I've long admired.) The scene where they're painting each others toenails, and Gigi

I really adored this fic. I love how taut it is, and how palpable the tension throughout. Also, the glimpses of Lizzie and Darcy in the background were ACES.
