Role Reversal

Note from your author (ha! sounds fancy): This is the third and final chapter to my Hurricane House fiction. Here is part one. Here is part two.
A few things: This story is a giant angst sandwich, but bear with it, I promise your patience will be rewarded. Also, regarding the scene in the boardroom, any resemblance to Lisa Edelstein's contract ( Read more... )

Awwww, thanks. I wish. I so wanted the series to end with a House/Cuddy/Wilson scene. I guess that's not in the offing now. *Cries.*

Ok, I cried. There, I said it. I just... had to read each sentence at least twice for the excitement. And... well, I'm a little shocked, it was like watching a movie, they were so real and so them. I love EVERY dialogue, every description, every move. Wow.
You just can't imagine how grateful I am for what you do: you have saved - at least in my mind - the dignity and the integrity of two of my favorite TV characters of all times (which are just four, actually: them + Mulder&Scully, so... two is quite a high percentage)
So... I love you, even if you love DS (jk, jk!) and yes, Yaitanes is even worse.

Awww, sniff, love you too! ♥♥♥

(BTW, I feel like I missed the boat on the whole X-Files thing, because a lot of my favorite Huddy peeps also ship Mulder and Scully. I was just never into the whole paranormal aspect of the show, but I can totally see it: Two sexy and intelligent grown-ups with amazing chemistry . . .hmmm sounds familiar. ;D)

You got the point <3
I was not into the whole "paranormal theories and bla bla bla" either, it was a friend of mine who introduced me to the show and I was like "oh, yeah, well, meh" and then I saw Mulder, and then I saw Scully - and suddenly my teenage was marked and I was an omniscient connoisseur of any kind of paranormal activity.

...and no, I'm not an expert diagnostician right now ;)
I still love sexy and intelligent *grown-ups* loving each other, though! ;)

Yay! I'm glad they still seemed like themselves, since they were both behaving so out of character!
Thanks for commenting (as always). xo

In the end, it was drive each other crazy together or drive each other crazy apart

That's so them! It's funny how you always seem to bring out those characteristics that I've loved for years, but that seemed to get completely lost on the show for quite some time.

Thanks. I love the idea of them just accepting that they're meant to be together and finding a flawed (yet hot!) way to make it work!
