Fandom Food Challenge

In honor of Bitty from Check Please (aka the resident gay hockey-playing baker - or is that baking hockey player?) I decided to make a pie! This was only my second time (yes, ever) baking a pie. I had to improvise a few things, but turned out to look pretty good - and it tasted spectacular. Take a look under the cut!

I've always enjoyed your cooking posts, and I'm surprised this is only your second pie! It looks fantastic! Man, the caramel part sounds fantastic.

LOL on scrolling past half the baker's life story. I know food bloggers are trying to establish a personality and it makes it fun for them (and I guess some of their readers) but these days I'm looking for "just the recipe" so yeah it gets a bit annoying. I guess that's unfair, it's nice of them to post these, I suppose the least I could do is read about them a bit. But I never do....
