I loved this show as a kid and watched it again when it was released on DVD... still good! I always wanted to know what happened to them at the end, did they escape!

Fantastic Beasts is on my list as well <333 I love the movie and the characters to bits (almost more than the original HP series...ALMOST).

Good to see some love for RDJ as well, and SG:A! I was a fan of SG-1 and held out for SO LONG before I watched that show, only to completely love it lol.

I liked it far better than the HP movies... probably because it wasn't about a bunch of kids :) I did like the HP movies but haven't gone out of my way to see them more than once... but I've seen Fantastic Beasts 4 times now! I was hoping we'd get Percival Graves returning but sadly that looks like it won't happen :(

I rewatched the HP movies recently and found I actually quite enjoyed them, even though when they came out I resented the way they changed some things from the books. That was only the 2nd time I'd ever watched them though, whereas I've seen Fantastic Beasts around the same number of times as you. One of my friends insists that, objectively speaking, the storytelling in FB is just bad - IMO it's different, and that's what makes it so compelling. But to each their own, I guess.

Maybe if we ask nicely they'll swap out Johnny Depp for Colin Farrell instead...

Oh, if only! Colin Farrell was so good in his role. I'm with you on the story telling. It wasn't amazing but I enjoyed it nonetheless and loved seeing the wizards interacting with the 'no-maj' world.

Okay, I totally have a weakness for improbable disaster movies too. My fav is probably 2012. I have a degree in geology, so watching them all is kinda hilarious even more than they should be.

I know! The science is as shaky as the camera work but I do love 'survival against all odds' movies. I do like 2012 for the special effects but was very MEH about the people, whereas I was rooting so hard for the characters in The Day After Tomorrow.

Oh, me too! I watch all of them no matter how terrible the plot; there's just something about the whole genre that amuses me greatly. The worst one I ever saw was some earthquake thing where there was a multi-story building falling down and the character is literally trying to outrun it along a street when there were OPEN ALLEYWAYS TO EITHER SIDE HE COULD EASILY HAVE ESCAPED DOWN. Needless to say, he got squished, and I was unable to take the rest of the movie seriously, but it was still a helluva lot of fun XD

Love what you did with this challenge!

I'm not typically a horror/zombie movie fan but I really enjoyed World War Z!

And Fantastic Beasts is such a great movie! Looking forward to the next one!

Derek Hale is <3

Thank you :)

I must have seen WWZ about a dozen times and I still enjoy it. The book is very good too... written like a documentary of the war from the viewpoints of different people from soldiers to politicians to ordinary people.

I like the HP movies but wouldn't go out of my way to watch them again. I was expecting to feel the same about Fantastic Beasts. Maybe it's because it is not a group of children... but I love that movie so much :)
