Jeffrey has come a long way to the point his career is now, and he totally deserved. I remember when I was watching "Angel" all the years back, he had a guest role in Season 3, and while I definitely had no memory space for guest characters in general at that time, his scenes were so memorable. And I really hoped for Denny on "Grey's Anatomy" to survive (didn't like the ghost storyline they did at all).

Another thing I totally love is the easy banter he still has going on with "his sons", Jensen Ackles and Jared Padalecki from "Supernatural", if their tweets and the videos from the SPN cons he's on are anything to go by.

Your favorite male actors list intrigues me because they are mostly older gruff actors who play no nonsense, sometimes incredibly violent, characters. Mostly anti-heroes, I think. I am wondering honestly, if actors like Clint Eastwood and Tommy Lee Jones would be on your list too?
