"Hems" is definitely garnering some fan crowd in here! (And you don't hear me complaining!)
I also love Meryl, though I haven't seen a lot of her movies. Favorite is "Mamma Mia", and I'm looking forward to the sequel (and all the songs we get to hear in it!)
I'm tentatively looking forward to the sequel. I've loved ABBA since forever and was so stoked that Meryl was going to be in Mamma Mia but Pierce Brosnan's horrible singing ruined it for me a little. And also I had really wanted Colin Firth to be Meryl's romantic opposite instead because I love them together.
Truth! Like, how did she not get the emmy for the year she played a pair of siamese twins, all the extra work that went into playing not just two PEOPLE but two people who shared shoulders. She's amazing. And Grissom/Catherine was the first ship that broke my heart
Oh, Golden Girls! ♥ I've always adored that show <3333. And anything Addams Family related (even though I'm a hardcore 1960s TV Show lover) just makes my heart explode anyway <3.
I love 1960s TV shows, I spent my entire childhood watching TVLand and Nick at Nite :D I somehow don't remember seeing the original Addams Family at the time though, so Angelica and Raul are my favorite Morticia and Gomez. But my first favorite show was Gilligan's Island and I wrote to Dawn Wells and got an autographed picture, I also wrote to Barbara Feldon who played Agent 99 on Get Smart. I didn't have a lot to talk about with other kids my age lol because I was also listening to my mother's classic rock music.
I feel like I should find and watch Home on the Range now because I've seen and loved every other movie on your faves list. So I should probably enjoy it, right?
Edit: Just opened imdb on a different tab and the poster alone makes me think I'm right about this.
I used to babysit my neighbor. He was this sweet adorable precocious little kid and he had the movie and EVERY. SINGLE. TIME. I babysat him I made him watch Home on the Range with me and he was finally like "can I please just give you this movie and you take it home??" And I still watch it/have it on in the background multiple times a month :D
