I apologize for leaving so suddenly. I had a mission to take care of. Now that it's taken care of, I return once again. I hope no other distractions will come my way with the school year starting soon.
A monster destroyed the world and I had to find a way to defeat it by time traveling. The monster was sealed away and dealt with and we were able to rebuild the city, though.
Yes, that's right. The future I know is heading back to recovery and peace before I left to return to this place and time.
Time-traveling... It has its advantages, but you'd have to think about whether the future would be changed for the better if you change the past. It's definitely something you shouldn't take lightly.
I definitely have past mistakes I'd want to go back and change. Maybe if I do that I can bring the Blaze I knew in the future back... That's probably my selfishness speaking, I wouldn't want to risk changing the peaceful future to something less unless I'm sure dealing with the past will give a brighter future.
There's also the taboo of having your past self meeting the future you, too.
[Oh, so... himself meeting himself? That just sounded kind of... strange. Very strange. In fact, the most strange, to the point that he just had to question it.]
What would happen if that occurred, by any chance?
I haven't tried it myself, but it's said that time will collapse on itself due to the paradox of having the same two persons in the same location at the same time.
It's a definite that the world will end. I'm not sure how, though...it can be through a gradual screw up of the time, or the universe can implode on itself and erase everything that ever existed.
...Or something like that. I'm not entire too sure, either. I'm the only time traveler from the world I come from, so no one can really tell me what can happen.
Welcome back... Silver, was it?
[SUP PHYSICS BRO.]

What was this mission you had to attend to?
[NOT THAT IT'S A PERSONAL QUESTION OR ANYTHING HA... HA...!!]

The future I came from had... some trouble. I had to resolve the problem.
It's a long story.

What happened? Was the issue resolved? You speak that it is taken care of, after all.
[JUST... CLARIFYING...]

Hm. The point is that it is all undone now, isn't it?
I wonder how it must be like to time travel, especially for such an important purpose.

... There are ways I wish I could change my past, but it is very... impacting, you could say.
Perhaps some things in the timeline shouldn't be altered, no matter how promising.

It's something I wouldn't want to try, either.

[WELL that sounds very scary and very, uh... unexpected?]
Do you have any idea how that could possibly result from that? That seems... extreme.

I should do some research on this. Surely the library has something... How curious...

Now I'm kind of curious too. Mind if I tag along?
