Escape from the ICU

At around dinner time Wednesday evening Aaron was finally moved out of the ICU to a room in the PCU (Progressive Care Unit). His nurse, the snarky one, told me that he is officially no longer in critical condition. Yay, and many thanks for the update. But isn't "sarcastic" the completely normal state for Aaron?

I am glad to hear Mr. Allston's feeling better!

I remember him fondly as the first person ever willing to pay for my writing.

Thank you so much for posting updates about Aaron, and I'm so relieved to hear that he's recovering, if only slowly but surely.

At least they don't have to start replacing parts of him with mechanical bits just yet.

Yay! And I love your rejoinder to the nurse. Hope the nurses in PCU are also fully prepared to snark Aaron along the road to health.
