Our school for God knows how many years have put on this fundraiser called Street Scenes. For a week we shut down the school to decorate and prepare for a weekend of fun! We transform our school into a themed club for one weekend a year. The halls are covered in paper and decorated according to the theme. Which in this case this year its "Cruisin' on Route 66" Each classroom has a different show... such as an improv room, a karaoke room, an impersonation room, skits, etc. There is also one big master show, which is a HUGE MUSICAL EXTRAVAGANZA. It's a one hour medley of the most popular songs, oldies that we know and love, and from musicals. Songs from last years show would include the Chicago soundtrack,selections from Pippin, swing music, songs from The Squirrel Nut Zippers... And one night students are allowed to come (it's really for adults the entire weekend because of alcoholic beverages) But one night is a student night. I am in this Spectacular show now... and let me tell you its an event to see... I cant tell you any details ( ... )

Come see 'A Murder is Announced', an Agatha Christie Murder Mystery, at Libertyville High School, with Tim Try as Edmund Swettenham. Feb. 11th and 12th at 7:30. If you want tickets just tell me!

Hey guys!! Come see Libertyville High School's One Act Play Festival!! There'll be four one acts, one of which I am directing, and some funny interludes... My play is called "Check, Please" and is about a series of blind dates gone disasterously wrong. They are being performed February 24th and 25th (a Thursday and Friday) and tix are usually around $2.
