I just discovered the beauty that is the band Dragonforce. This is 90's epic metal at its grandest. I haven't heard a ton of their music but all that I've heard have these huge epic guitar solos that'll put a tear in any head bangers eyes. Dustin Kensrue's new cd "Please Come Home" is incredible! Definitely a departure from Thrice, but the cd delivers a great acoustic, singer/songwriter vibe. You can actually hear the whole LP from his MYSPACE. Either way, you should enjoy the music. Great stuff!

The Descent is one of the best horror movies I've seen in some time. It's simply horrifying in moments. It's best viewed, as I saw it, late at night by yourself in a completely dark room. Let the creatures come out.

So I'm here at work listening to my music stations at pandora.com and they just played "Epic" by Faith No More. My God, I haven't heard that song in a long time and my love for it hasn't subsided a bit. It brings a smile to my face. If I could only put it on repeat.

Every Christmas the church I attend, Grace Church, always puts on some musical for their Christmas service. This year they did a updated version of the play they did a few years ago titled "The Little Drummer Boy". I saw this years version which was pretty amazing. I think I just saw the most disturbing thing being sold in supermarkets today. Working on an ad at work, I noticed a store selling frozen hog heads. What in the world?!!!?!!!!? And they have a picture of it!!!

....absolutely sucks! We just changed over from Outlook at work and it is terrible. It takes forever to receive a message from just across the room. In a lot of cases about 10 minutes. I have it checked to have an icon pop up when I get an email and he never pops up. In order to discover new email, I have to maximize my inbox and refresh. I don ( Read more... )

I officially have an introductory knowledge of Adobe Acrobat! At least the guys at UMSL say so after taking the class today. Fun stuff I tell you. Maybe in a month I'll have an intermediate knowledge of it....after I take that class.

It's actually pretty cool. I've never worked with PDFs before. It could be fun...I guess.

So you're enjoying the 3 day weekend. I'm jealous. That's right. I'm working 2 of the three days. After today I will have put in 73 hours this week and could have easily put in more if I didn't have a standard on how many hours I can work a week! Well, speaking of I should best be getting back to work.

I went and saw Little Miss Sunshine this past weekend and absolutely loved it. By far, the funniest movie I've seen this year, and quite possibly my favorite movie to come out so far this year...that I've actually seen, that is.
