It lets us teach them use or just be around exorcisms, if we keep the marks hidden where they can't be seen to be broken it works. That gives us a chance of a lowered body-count over there. On the chance one of ours goes bad, I can still hold them still, just can't force them out until it breaks. I've tried.

We can see how small it can be and still work if that's the biggest thing you're worrying about. It'll be the least of theirs once it's finished but...when it's over, something can be figured out to compensate if..
