Hawai'i - Day 1 and 2

The Delta flight to HI got a bit hairy when the pilot announced an oil leak in the engine. Luckily, they noticed this while still on the ground... One of the nice side effects (for us) in the Iceland volcano is that there are lots of extra unused planes in the system! So they just had to pull another out of the hanger and move us over. Never mind

Yay, Karen! Have been thinking about you & wondering how it's going. Thanks for posting to FB so I'd think to check here (kinda slow that way). Hope it all goes really well. See if you can snag a rambutan or several--Tracie & Di had photos of them from their trip and said they were deee-licious.
