It's cute and functional <3 As for the packaging; you may want to try the Stay-things shrub at Simlogical which allows the house to stay as is if the sim is moved out.
Just in case, before you use the shrub to move the sim, always try to save the house first in the House bin (so you can place it again in the neighborhood while keep it saved there).
Isn't common, but sometimes a few objects could disappear when you remove the sim. So, if you notice (after you re-enter the house) that something is missing and don't remember exactly what, you can use again the house from the bin as a reference to know the object that dissapear and fix the house before you package it.
After you check if everything is right and package the house, then you can delete it the copy from the bin.
