I am so jealous of your 'hood right now. Your sims are so gorgeous and seems like a lot of fun to play with. You have inspired me to be brave and join the Build A City Challenge. Haha :P I was thinking about having a grocery shop as my first community lot too. Eventually the food that follows the refrigerator will run out, and since I can't call any NPC services...
You have to hurry up and play some more! I want to see that baby!

Thank you! :D I'm having a lot of fun. It's awesome that you're going to try it, it's such a great challenge! Having a grocery shop is probably what makes most sense. ^^ I don't know if I'll be playing as much as I've done lately in the near future but I'll do my best! x)

I'm going to bother you with some silly BACC questions again. You were so good at answering my previous ones, so I hope it is okay. I'm trying to understand how to calculate my SM points. Do I multiply the amount of playable sims with all the other points I've gained (SM)? Right now I have 2 playable sims and 1 community lot. Will my stats look something like this?:

+1 for founding the city
+1 for first community lot
+1 founder moves in townie
= SM: 3
3x2=6
Population: 6

Is this correct? Also, if my founder marries the townie, do I get another point?

It depends on the ruleset you're playing with but the most common ones, the ones I know by heart, says that you start with you're SM being 1 and you get +1 for your first community just as you said. Then you get +1 when you reach a total of 5 community lots and +1 for every additional 5 community lots. You get +5 when you unlock downtown and +5 for each uni and also +5 for each shopping district. I've never read or heard about any other ways to gain SM points. Like moving in or marrying townies. So I'd say that you're current SM is 2 and your population 4 at this point. :)

I loved all the portraits, especially the Jernigan one - Aofie looks like such a proud mama ;)
And I'm sorry, I don't have any experience with making actually functional schools, although I'm keen to see if you do get it to work.

I'm glad you did! You're so right about Aofie! xD I'll do some experimenting in my test hood when it comes to the school. I'm definitely getting it to work!

Thank you! I don't have that community time hack yet but I've been thinking about downloading it. But maybe it'll be easier to just do it the way to proposed above. I'm going to test with and without the time hack in my test hood and see what works best. :P Thanks for commenting!

Thank you! I've played this game for so long that I just have to try to give them as much character as possible. They can't all be mental clones of me. ^^
