So people think she's crazy. Even her aunts do, and Rory kind of thinks the same, even if he's nicer than most and then he sort of tries to fix it by saying 'well, and I'm crazy about you, so...' for which she kisses him and they get distracted doing that for a while.

And then she spends the next few weeks-years-millenia-but-really-it-was-less-than-a-day time running through planets and through time, saving people, meeting Van Gogh, meeting her imaginary friend and the two of them becoming best friends, falling completely in love once again with her fiancé.

Amy decides that the rest of the universe can have their sanity. She will have craziness, laughter and many, many adventures.
