First of all, I LOVE THIS CONCEPT. There are so many possibilities with it, and I think you explored a few of them quite well. :)

Everyone is well characterized here. Edward is so sad, so tragic - seeing his naivete and faith in this is truly heart-wrenching. I also like Ed's reaction to him - he depends on his automail for survival, so seeing mechanic arms like Edward's must horrify him, a little. And Al is adorable as usual. :)

The ending lines are like a suckerpunch to the gut - they're painful, but not in a melodramatic way, as many amateur writers would do. In fact, I think that applies to this whole piece - it could have easily been exaggerated and dramatic, but it wasn't, and that really fits this nicely. I'm just really impressed that you've managed to display a lot of emotion in so few words; it's a great talent. :D

So um. If the flattery hasn't tipped you off to this already: I loved it. ♥

¡Gracias! Yo había mencionado la posibilidad de esto más que nada como crack, pero ya no pude dejarlo... y sí, Al probablemente habría pensado que el otro Edward era feliz.
