So my new betta seems depressed. He's always at the bottom of his bowl. I'm thinking of getting him a new friend. Kristen suggested that if I had two bettas, I could have Tiny Tim and Jumpin' Jim be their (ukulele-themed!) names. Tonight, after a fun afternoon of bowling and dining at Chat N' Chew, I accompanied Susan to Petco and purchased a NEW FAMILY MEMBER! Yes, it's a betta! He is bright yellow (much like my ukulele), and he is adorable. He is my first Halfmoon betta, meaning his fins form a sort-of circle.

MY FISH DIED YESTERDAY. It was Commack, my first-ever crowntail betta, and my only betta from Long Island. (Megan carried him all the way to me for my birthday!
